The song “Effort” will have you marching around the room!  This is a call and response song that the kids love sounding serious to. Forward march and sing along!

• MP3 of both vocals and instrumental
• Discuss with your students the importance of effort in whatever they do.
• Teach your students about call and response songs. Discuss where these songs are used ( military, etc.)
• Discuss marching in formations – marching bands, military, etc.  Create a marching pattern and have the class learn it.
